IATA: Industry on Track To Triple SAF Output in 2024
The global SAF Output in 2024 will equal less than one percent of jet fuel usage
According to IATA, based on industry announcements, nearly 150 renewable fuels production facilities are expected to be in operation by 2030, including Phillips 66's Rodeo refinery in the San Francisco Bay area which recently converted fully to processing renewable feedstocks. If those projects reach their intended production output, annual global renewable fuel totals could top 13 billion gallons by 2030.
